Your health data

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This page complements our privacy policy. It explains how BodyYears handles information about your health and fitness. It also addresses the consumer health data laws of some US states, such as Washington State.

The data concerned

Your age, height, weight, your answers about your habits, your results on the three tests, your body age and your thirty-day plan. The camera images during the tests are also part of it.

Where it is processed

On your phone. In the current version of the app, this data is not sent to our servers and we have no access to it. The camera images are analyzed live. They are never recorded or sent.

Why we use it

Only to calculate your result, build your plan and track your progress from one month to the next.

What we never do

We do not sell your health data. We do not share it with anyone. We do not use it for advertising.

What leaves your phone

Your subscription status goes through Apple and our subscription management provider, with an anonymous identifier. We also measure anonymous events such as "test started" or "test completed". They contain neither your answers nor your results.

If you close the payment screen, the app may ask you why. If you answer, we receive your answer, your language and your store country. This answer contains no health data.

Your consent

The app asks for your consent before you start. You can refuse the camera and enter your results by hand.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, have it deleted or withdraw your consent by writing to [email protected]. Since your health data stays on your phone, deleting the app deletes it. We reply within forty-five days.
